The Queen is the only person in Britain with two birthdays. Her real birthday is on April 21st, but she has an "official" birthday that falls on the second Saturday in June when a traditional ceremony called the "Troopin of the color" takes place. On this occasion a regiment of the Queen's soldiers, the Guards, march before her with their respective flag or "colour".
La regina d'Inghilterra è l'unica in Gran Bretagna a festeggiare due compleanni . Il suo compleanno reale è il 21 Aprile, quello ufficiale viene celebrato il secondo sabato di Giugno.
La cerimonia tradizionale è chiamata ''LE TRUPPE DEL COLORE'' . In questa occasione il reggimento dei soldati della regina, denominato '' le Guardie'' , sfila prima di lei con le rispettive bandiere o ''colori''.
